For Landscapers
The Grass Yard works with landscapers, builders, and property crews the same way we work with homeowners, just at the volume and pace a real job requires.
Wholesale pricing
Wholesale pricing applies across all four grasses — Raleigh St. Augustine, Tahoma 31 Bermuda, Palisades Zoysia, and Tifway 419 Bermuda. Mixed orders across multiple varieties still qualify; the discount is based on total pallet count per order, not per grass. If you’re bidding a job off our numbers, ask for a written quote and we’ll hold that price through your install window, not just the day you called.

Delivery lead times during peak season
Spring and fall are peak business periods; please book deliveries in advance rather than expecting next-day availability, as turnaround is faster off-season. If you have a strict installation deadline, call ahead so we can confirm the timeline before you commit.
How wholesale orders actually work
Delivery scheduled around your install, not a single window
Running installs across several properties in the same week, we’ll coordinate drop-offs around your crew’s sequence instead of one delivery slot.
One order, multiple job sites
Servicing more than one property from a single order doesn’t mean placing separate orders for each stop. Give us the addresses, we’ll handle the routing.
Sod in stock, not grown to order
We keep working inventory across all four grasses, so a client change mid-project, switching from Palisades to Tifway 419 because the yard turned out sunnier than expected, doesn’t mean waiting on a fresh cut.
Resale certificate on file
If you’re purchasing for a client’s property, provide a valid Texas resale certificate and materials qualify for tax-exempt purchase. Send it once when you open your wholesale account; we’ll keep it on file for future orders.

Step 2
Send your resale certificate
Required for tax-exempt material purchases. One-time setup, applies to future orders automatically.
Step 3

Based on expected volume. No renegotiating on every order once your account is active.
Step 4
Order at wholesale pricing
Wholesale pricing applies automatically once your account is set up.

Credit applications & payment terms
Net terms are available for approved wholesale accounts. Until approved, orders are paid at time of purchase like standard accounts.

Site access & insurance
Standard delivery trucks weigh close to a ton. Inform us in advance of tight access, overhead lines, soft ground, or parking limitations. If the property or HOA requires a Certificate of Insurance, let us know ahead of time.

Damaged or short pallets
Check your delivery against the invoice before the driver leaves. Report any damaged, short, or incorrect items to the driver immediately and call us the same day so we can resolve it quickly without delaying your crew.
Questions from landscapers
Is there a minimum order to qualify for wholesale pricing?
No, once you have a wholesale, your pricing is good whether ordering one pallet or a truckoad.
Can delivery go to a client’s address instead of mine?
Yes. Billing and delivery don’t need to match — just provide the job site address when ordering.
What if a client wants a different grass mid-project?
Call before the order ships if you can. If it’s already cut, we’ll work through next steps with you, but catching it early is easier for everyone.
Is there a difference in quality between standard and wholesale orders?
No. Same sod, same cutting schedule. Only pricing and delivery coordination differ.
